butterfly lunch

Last weekend, I took my daughter to Girl Scout horse camp for a few hours to earn a badge.  It was an incredible Spring afternoon, wildflowers were everywhere, and with each step she and I took, hundreds of butterflies would take to wing around us.  They would light on our shoulders and dance about. It made for a magical day! 

I saw this on pinterest, and just had to surprise her, it reminded me of our special day together!  I made it with all her favorites, cheese and goldfish crackers, carrots and peanut butter, mini oreos and mini chips ahoy, and strawberries and blueberries.   I think I'm going to do something similar for our snack turn at her next soccer game!
